VDTA Ensemble Department is the professional strand of Vivies Dance and Theatre Academy (VDTA). Comprising the Senior Dance Company and the Junior Dance Company, Ensemble stands as a dynamic platform dedicated to nurturing and refining the talents of young and aspiring artists.
At the core of Ensemble’s mission is the commitment to provide a robust space for emerging artists to cultivate and showcase their artistic prowess. Our goal is not merely to train future professional dancers and artists but to foster the growth of complete human beings—individuals equipped with critical thinking skills, curiosity, and the ability to lead fulfilling and productive lives.
The Ensemble is driven by a dual purpose: to offer culturally and globally relevant works that position our members, the VDTA company, and our nation within the ever-evolving landscape of the global art economy. The Junior Dance Company is made up of students who have shown interest in taking dance professionally, as a career or who want more intensive training and opportunities to dance. Admission to the Junior Dance Company is by audition which is conducted annually. The Junior Dance Company serves as the face of the company during events and performances. They go through mentorship to help them develop other areas of their lives.
The Senior Dance Company is a vibrant group of dance professionals who use their artistic talents to raise awareness of significant social concerns. The SDC uses their performances to address societal issues and urge the necessary attention to transform society
